Reports

Breakdowns and financials for the projects you can see.

The Reports page turns your projects into breakdowns and totals. It's reached from the Organization zone in the sidebar.

What Reports Counts

The rule is simple: your Reports page counts exactly the projects your Projects page lists. For a team member, that's your own group plus anything you've been added to. For a manager, it's your managed groups. For executives, owners, and admins, it's the whole organization. Reports and Projects always describe the same world — if a project shows up on one, it's counted on the other.

Everyone gets Projects by Status and Projects by Group over their own scope. Team members see them too; the breakdowns just cover their projects, not the company's. The Projects by field cards appear for managers, executives, owners, and admins only.

Financial Summary

Four cards across the top showing the financial picture for the projects in your scope. The figures are visible to managers, executives, owners, and admins; team members see a line explaining that rollup dollars aren't part of their role, and the breakdowns below still work in full.

A filter row sits above the Financial summary with one select per project field: Type, Level, Category, and any fields your organization added. Filters stack, your picks show as removable chips, and every number on the page follows the filter, from the Financial summary down to each breakdown.

CardWhat it shows
Total COPQThe opportunity across the projects in your scope — the sum of each project's COPQ
Hard savingsSum of hard benefits, with an "of which $X captured" line for the portion finance has confirmed
Soft savingsSum of soft benefits — reported separately, never added to hard
Net hard savingsSum of each project's own hard savings minus its costs, over projects that have a hard benefit

Each card carries a short subline, such as "of which $X captured" under Hard savings. See Financials & COPQ for what each number means and how netting works.

Projects by Status

Shows how many projects are in each status (Idea, Active, Completed, Archived) as cards with visual progress bars. Each status card shows:

  • A color-coded status badge
  • The number of projects
  • Money chips for that status — COPQ · Hard · Soft · Net hard — when the projects at that status have figures to show
  • A chevron you can click to expand and see the actual list of projects in that status

Archived projects get their own labelled row here, money included. That row is the only place archived money appears on the page — every other figure, from the Financial Summary down, excludes it. See Archived Projects on the Dashboard page for the same rule there.

Projects by Field

Reports carries one Projects by card per project field — Type, Level, Category, and each field your organization added. Each card is a link. Open it to see the full by-field report for that field.

The by-field report has one row per option with its project count, idea count, and money, and each row opens into the projects behind the number. The money columns are the same row as everywhere else: Total COPQ, Hard savings, Soft savings, Total costs, and Net hard savings. The Not set row comes last and is hidden when it's empty.

Projects by Group

Shows projects grouped by their assigned group. Each group shows a count and a progress bar. Click the chevron to expand and see the projects. Only groups that have projects are shown.

Drill-Down Project Lists

In all report sections, clicking the chevron (arrow) next to any option expands an inline list of the projects with that option. Each project in the list shows its name (as a clickable link), status badge, and group name. Click the chevron again to collapse the list.
