Dashboard
Your work at the top, and the part of the organization your role covers below.
The Dashboard is the first thing you see when you open SixGrid — and everyone lands on the same one. The top of the page is always your own work: your to-dos, your upcoming milestones, your projects. Below that, if your role covers part of the organization, you'll see a rollup of it. That's the whole shape.
My To-dos
Shows your open to-do assignments across all projects, sorted by urgency (most urgent first). Only to-dos assigned to you (via the Assign to dropdown on the To-dos tab) appear here. Each to-do shows:
- The to-do title
- Which project it belongs to (click to jump to that project)
- A color-coded due date indicator (see Due Date Color Indicators)
- A status dot showing whether it's not started (gray), in progress (blue), or blocked (red)
Up to 10 to-dos are displayed. If you have more, a count tells you how many additional items exist.
Upcoming Milestones
Shows key checkpoints from your projects that are coming up. Each milestone shows:
- The milestone title
- Which project it belongs to
- A color-coded due date indicator
- The milestone status (Not Started or In Progress)
Up to 5 upcoming milestones are displayed, sorted by the nearest due date first. When a milestone is due within 3 days, SixGrid also sends an email notification to project leaders and organization admins. See Email Notifications.
My Projects
Shows the projects you're a member of as cards in a grid. Each card shows:
- The project name
- Your role on the project (e.g., Project Leader, Team Member)
- The project's group (if assigned)
- A status badge (Idea, Active, Completed, or Archived)
Projects are sorted with Active projects first, then Idea, Completed, and Archived. Up to 6 project cards are shown, with a "View all projects" link if you have more.
These three sections are always on the page, for everyone. If you have no to-dos, no upcoming milestones, or no projects yet, the section doesn't disappear — you'll see a friendly empty state telling you so, with a pointer to what to do next.
The Organization Rollup
Below your own work, the Dashboard rolls up the part of the organization your role is accountable for:
- Team members and project leaders — the page ends after your work. No company figures.
- Managers — a rollup of the groups you manage, dollars included, with a by-group breakdown.
- Executives, owners, and admins — the whole company's rollup, right on the page you land on.
If you don't see company numbers on your Dashboard, nothing is broken — your role doesn't include them.
The Dollars
The organization section shows the same money row as the Program view — Total COPQ, Hard savings (with "of which $X captured"), Soft savings, Total costs, and Net hard savings — plus the "% of the opportunity" line and the status strip. Managers get it over their groups; executives, owners, and admins get the whole company. Below it, By group lists each group with its COPQ, so you can see where the opportunity sits. See Financials & COPQ for what each number means and how per-project netting works.
Archived Projects
Archived projects keep all of their data, but their money is not counted in any rollup figure. If a number dropped after you archived a project, that's why — the data isn't gone, it's just set aside.
