The spreadsheet problem

Generic project tools track tasks and dates. They do not know what a DMAIC phase is, what belongs in a charter, or the difference between hard savings and cost avoidance. So most CI programs end up running on spreadsheets and slide decks, and every practitioner rebuilds the same structure by hand for every project.

That rebuilding is the waste SixGrid removes. The structure of a proper CI project is already in the software.

How a project works in SixGrid

Every project starts with a charter: problem statement, goal, scope, and the metrics that define success. Not a free-text description box. A charter.

Milestones are organized by method phase rather than arbitrary sprints, with to-dos grouped under each one. Financial impact is tracked against real benefit classifications: hard savings, soft savings, and cost avoidance. When a tollgate review comes around, the evidence is already in one place.

From one project to a program

A single practitioner can run their first DMAIC or Kaizen project during training. A team can share projects, assign work, and roll financial impact up across initiatives. At the program level, groups, reports, and executive dashboards give leadership visibility without anyone assembling a slide deck first.
